Hello folks! Happy February! This offering is for 3 sexed Pr's of Pseudomugil cyanodorsalis. These are one of the harder to find Dwarf Blue Eye Rainbows currently making the rounds in the hobby. These were bred in NY by a good hobbyist friend of mine Carl who managed to acquire them from Eric Bodrock a while ago. Please do not be turned off by my photo's of these beautiful little fish. I had a VERY rough time photographing them and they are really a gorgeous little rainbow fish. The Males are currently displaying and chasing the Females but I have not found any eggs on the mop I have in with them yet. Carl did mention that they may be still too young to be producing eggs but I would like to also raise a few of these so I added a mop to their holding tank just in case they decide they have reached sexual maturity under my watch. I have done a good amount of research on these fish over the last few days and I believe they would like in any type of hard water from fresh right to marine. They most likely would NOT do well in soft water. I am keeping them in my Great Lakes tap water here in my fish room with the addition of one tablespoon of instant ocean salt mix to every gallon of water.
