Description

You are bidding on two reverse trios (4 males, 2 females) of fish 1-1.25 + inches in length. Yes this is a big boys signifer. Harvey�s creek, Gap Creek and Ross River are all from the �large� sized signifer and most likely will become a different species someday to differentiate them from the �tiny signifers�. This fish probably has the most color of the large sigs and gets to 2 � 2.25 inches in length. It does really like sea salt added to its water, 1 cup per 5 gallons (specific gravity around 1.014). Get 10 or 20 of these going in a 15/20 gallon tank and you have a real show as they prance around and flair their butterfly fins! They are just starting to lay viable eggs. Feed your fry with live baby brine shrimp until they are bigger then go with black worms, and frozen bloodworms for adults.

If you�re tired of store bought crossed and washed out junk rainbowfish I have a better suggestion! Buy your rainbowfish from me. If you�re tired of seeing auctions that are just foisting the same Far East wholesaler as their own, buy your rainbowfish from me. You get what you pay for� I raise and breed more species and location (river) variants of rainbowfish than anyone else in the United States. My rainbowfish are all raised by me and not imported from some offshore farm. My aquariums are carefully marked to ensure that similar species are not mixed up or crossed. So many rainbowfish look very similar when they are small so attention to detail is vital. You will see in my listings rainbowfish that have never been offered EVER in the United States. You�ll get prompt and courteous service and you�ll get some great fish that you�ll enjoy for years to come.

When the auction ends on Saturday evening I would like to have an email by Sunday morning so I know whether a PayPal payment is coming shortly or whether we are waiting for a MO. Payment must be made within 5 days after the auction ends. If I am shipping on Monday morning your prizes need to have a good water change and go without food for 36 + hours so that they can be shipped to you in optimal shape. Without the 36 hour fast rainbowfish can easily get ammonia burn or worse.

Express mail shipping is $45 or less for those that live closer to St. Louis MO. Save some shipping dollars by buying more than one auction from me. You�ll pay the exact shipping price. Rainbowfish really need to have a lot of oxygen to survive. I ship all of my fish in breather bags. Guarantee with immediate (within 2 hours of USPS delivery) digital picture of dead fish - in the bag provides credit for the replacement of DOA fish. Guarantee does not include the cost of shipping.
