Description

8+ at an inch. Years ago this fish, known only from one specimen was thought to be a striped praecox. The intrepid Gary Lange set out against all odds in a Quixotic quest to seek this fabled specimen and lo and behold he succeeded. Not a praecox at all it was soon shown to be a completely new species, Melanotaenia rubrivittata. Thankfully due to Gary supplying a goodly amount of fish to others this find in now well distributed in the hobby. Here is a chance to obtain them if you would like. Shipping by USPS express will be around 40, exact quote at the auction's end will be provided. Make sure it goes to you overnight, I won't guarantee unless it is next day.
