Description

You are bidding on 8 Chilatherina campsi "Wahgi River", sized at 1-1.25" in total length. You should have a pretty good chance of getting both males and females in the lot of 8. My photo shows some of the adult fish so you can see what they will grow out to look like. Their color will vary due to camera flash angle, background, time of day, diet, mood etc. As any rainbowfish keeper knows, this can drive a person crazy trying to describe exact color and markings of your fish! Here is the information I received on these fish (my breeders) when I go them; "The campsi were collected by an a now elderly ex-aircraft mechanic working in PNG by the name of Barry Crockford who lives in Melbourne. Barry says that the specimens I have came from the Wahgi River near Mt Hagan at about 3000M elevation. Barry brought these into Australia around 1981-82 and he strongly disputes the existence of any other colour variety other than the red-fin variety. There are people talking about a blue form - which most likely was ramuensis. They like 21-22C temperature and some water circulation."

Remember these are tank raised fish, spawned and raised in our own hatchery, NOT stressed out, emaciated imported fish (which are often misidentified) that just arrived in the USA and are ready to die! ~~ Proudly Pennsylvania Produced ~~

Only method of shipping offered is USPS Express Shipping for a flat rate of $40.00 and, in areas with very hot or cold weather, I highly recommend using the hold for pick up (at post office) option to help protect the shipment from a day or exposure to weather conditions as it rides around in a mail truck for hours prior to delivery to your home. Email me your shipping zip code for delivery times as some USPS Express is a 2 day delivery.

Live delivery will be guaranteed, as long as someone is present to receive & sign for shipment on the first delivery attempt to an address other than a post office. If using the hold for pick up service, packages must be picked up within 4 hours once available at your post office. - - - Live delivery is guaranteed to you, but I DO NOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME!

I don't use USPS Priority Mail (and please don't ask me to, saying you will take the risk!) because they are so unpredictable and unreliable. I have already had packages in the past take up to two weeks to get delivered; I will not to take a gamble with living things!!! Let us avoid any problems, headaches, arguments and hard feelings just to try and save a few dollars!!

Again, email me at sales@alloddballaquatics.com BEFORE YOU BID if you have ANY questions about the shipping or ANY other possible questions. Payment must be sent within 5 days of auction end, PLEASE! PayPal or United States Postal Service Money Orders accepted only. There will be a 3% additional cost added to the final total once shipping is calculated in, this is to help cover some of the banking, service and handling fees that I get hit with! THANKS FOR LOOKING AND MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT ALL MY OTHER AUCTIONS, COMBINE WINNING AUCTIONS TO SAVE ON SHIPPING COST! Check out my feedback...it says it all about my fish & items and the way I do business!

and remember ~~ Proudly Pennsylvania Produced ~~
