Description

Before we start, I must say up front that I will work out the shipping details on an individual basis as winter weather conditions may affect shipping plans with any of my auctions.

Here you go folks, another great oddball Rainbowfish! Up for auction is a group of 8 young, unsexed, tank raised Melanotaenia flavipinnis. They are sized about .75" - 1" in total length. My photo is a shot of some of my breeders when they were younger, as they get older, they will show a deeper yellow/orange color in their fins & darker color and markings on their body. You can see a good photo of them at: http://www.aquaportail.com/fiche-poisson-3399-melanotaenia-flavipinnis.html They look similar to Mel. misoolensis and Mel. fredericki and are pretty hard to find in the hobby here in the USA!

These are tank raised, and as we like to say... Proudly Pennsylvania Produced�, being spawned and raised in our own hatchery. These are NOT stressed out, emaciated imported fish (which are often misidentified) that just arrived in the USA and are ready to die! If you are interested in more about how I spawned these guys, please ask and I will send you a copy of an article I wrote about them.

Only method of shipping offered is USPS Express Shipping for a flat rate of $38.00 and, in areas with cold weather, I highly recommend using the �hold for pick up� (at post office) option to help protect the shipment from a day or exposure to weather conditions as it rides around in a mail truck for hours prior to delivery to your home. Email me your shipping zip code for delivery times if need be as some Express Mail is a 2 day delivery time.

Live delivery will be guaranteed, as long as someone is present to receive & sign for shipment on the first delivery attempt to an address other than a post office. If using the �hold for pick up� service, packages must be picked up within 4 hours once available at your post office. - - - Live delivery is guaranteed to you, but I DO NOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME!

I don't use USPS Priority Mail (and please don't ask me to, saying you will take the risk!) because they are so unpredictable and unreliable. I have already had packages in the past take up to two weeks to get delivered; I will not to take a gamble with living things!!! Let us avoid any problems, headaches, arguments and hard feelings just to try and save a few dollars!!
