We collected these in 2010 and you are getting youngsters of my wild fish. You are bidding on 2 pr (F-1) 1.5-2 inches. This is a little bit different color variety of Melanotaenia splendida rubrostriata that we caught in Dekai. These fish get quite big, we caught some that were five plus inches. Lots of reds but as they mature you also see some gold colors in their body. Like all rainbowfish, feed them a variety of foods and change the water weekly. They love planted tanks and will look even better in one. If you�re tired of store bought crossed and washed out junk rainbowfish I have a better suggestion! Buy your rainbowfish from me. If you�re tired of seeing auctions that are just foisting the same Far East wholesaler, or worse, FLORIDA crap as their own, buy your rainbowfish from me. You get what you pay for� I raise and breed more species and location (river) variants of rainbowfish than anyone else in the United States. My rainbowfish are all raised by me and not imported from some offshore farm. My aquariums are carefully marked to ensure that similar species are not mixed up or crossed.
