You are bidding on a RARE BREEDING group of 8 .. these are 2”+ and F-2. Their parents come from Garry Lange who collected them from the village of Dekai on his 2010 trip to New Guinea. The DNA results tell us that this is a brand new species! This is a relatively small rainbowfish, much like Melanotaenia sexlineata, getting only to about a maximum of three inches. When the males are chasing the females they brighten up and are a real sight to behold. You can get an idea from the photos below. If you’re tired of store bought crossed and washed out junk rainbowfish this is your chance of buying a pure and rare variety of rainbowfish.
