Description

This auction is for six (6) 3/4- 1� juvenile Melanotaenia boesemani raised in my fish room. I purchased the breeders of this very colorful rainbow from Ken Balfanz from Minnesota who obtained the fish from Glaser Aquarium in Germany (imported by Mark Denario at Anubias Design). These fish have been bred for intense colors and they certainly show it at an early age (see photos). The pictures are of two of my breeder males taken last winter. Unfortunately, the blue color does not come out well in these pictures. The fish show a much darker blue when they are in the mood to be colored up. This strain is slow growing, however, but also long-lived and will be around in your fish room for years. More fish are available. I have other high quality bows available if you want to combine and save on shipping. Fish that are listed in auctions are not sold off auction until the auction transaction is complete. Shipping to the lower 48 continental USA is a flat rate per box regardless of the number of fish sent: Priority Mail = $15 (no live arrival guarantee), Express Mail = $45 (live arrival guarantee, cost of fish only). All other destinations please inquire. I only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays. In the unlikely event you receive any DOA(s) fish from me, simply contact me within 2 hours of first delivery attempt.
