Description

Bid is for a beautiful group of 8+1 Melanotaenia maccullochi ADULT fish of mixed sex. I am not totally confident of the location of these fish but, I'm suspecting it might be Harvey Creek. These fish are 2" in size and larger (from nose to caudal peduncle). These fish will not disappoint as they are very good quality and have just been a joy to watch! A very active and social group of rainbows that display striking colors when spawning in the morning. I am selling this group of rainbows off to make room in my display tank for another group of maturing rainbows that I'd like to move in to the tank. SHIPPING: I will ship these fish by USPS Express ONLY and I highly suggest you consider shipping with a 'HOLD FOR PICK-UP AT POST OFFICE' given the recent extreme summer heat so the fish do not need to ride around in a hot mail truck awaiting delivery. I will also consider shipping the fish to your place of employment if you will be unable to pick them up at the post office because of work. Shipping cost will be based on destination location so email me your zip for quote. These fish are mature so they are of decent size and will need to be shipped in a larger quantity of shipping water so, I estimate total shipping weight to be around 6# to 7#. I will ship the fish in a nicely lined shipping box and will pad the shipping container generously. The fish will fast for at least 24 hours pre-ship and be given a hefty clean water change the night prior to shipping. I use Bag Buddies tablets and Ammo-Lock for shipping all my fish. Fish will be bagged in Kordon breather bags. PAYMENT: PayPal is the preferred method of payment and will be expected within 48 hours of auction close. LIVE ARRIVAL/DOA: Live arrival is guaranteed. I take great pride in the manner in which I prepare/ship my fish but, in the unlikely event of DOA, email me a clear picture of any/all DOA fish in original unopened bag within 2 hours of acceptance/delivery.
