Description

Bid is for 7+1 unsexed fish from my Melanotaenia sp. 'Aru Islands' aka 'ARU II' breeding stock. These juveniles are about 1.25" in size, or larger. This species of rainbow is highly sought after! These truly are 'rainbow' fish in that their mature coloration is highly representative of just about all the colors of the rainbow and they are undoubtedly show-stoppers. The picture below is of one of my males. My breeding stock comes from Eric Bodrock and they are the real deal! Rest assured that the juvenile fish you get from me will be of the utmost quality and devoid of any spinal deformities, under-developed operculum, or abnormal finnage...PERIOD!!! SHIPPING: I will ship these fish by USPS Express ONLY and I highly suggest you consider shipping with a 'HOLD FOR PICK-UP AT POST OFFICE' given the recent extreme summer heat so the fish do not need to ride around in a hot mail truck awaiting delivery. I will also consider shipping the fish to your place of employment if you will be unable to pick them up at the post office because of work. Shipping cost will be based on destination location so email me your zip for quote. I will ship the fish in a nicely lined shipping box and will pad the shipping container generously. The fish will fast for at least 24 hours pre-ship and be given a hefty clean water change the night prior to shipping. I use Bag Buddies tablets and Ammo-Lock for shipping all my fish. Fish will be bagged in Kordon breather bags. PAYMENT: PayPal is the preferred method of payment and will be expected within 48 hours of auction close. LIVE ARRIVAL/DOA: Live arrival is guaranteed. I take great pride in the manner in which I prepare/ship my fish but, in the unlikely event of DOA, email me a clear picture of any/all DOA fish in original unopened bag within 2 hours of acceptance/delivery.
