Description

Bid is for a group of 8 Melanotaenia sp. "Aru Island" or "Aru II" (as these are also called) rainbowfish. Sized arouond 2" in total length. Sexing is pretty hard at this size/age, but I'll do my best to try and mix the sexes in the lot. My breeders came from Johannes Graf in Germany, as young, in May of 2008. My photo shows a series of shots taken at different times of my group of adult breeders. I wanted to show you some of the variances you will see due to camera flash angle, background, time of day, diet, fish mood etc. As any rainbowfish keeper knows, this can drive a person crazy trying to describe exact color and markings of your fish! Winner will have the option to buy a few more that I have left at the winning bid price. Remember, these are tank raised fish, spawned and raised in our hatchery, they are NOT stressed out, emaciated imported fish that just arrived in the USA and are ready to die. Only methods of shipping offered will be via USPS Express Shipping OR UPS ground if ground delivery is no more than a 2 day delivery time from Pittsburgh PA.
