Description

I have a beautiful group of M. lacustris juveniles that are at about 2" in size. Already colored up nicely and I have even caught several of the males flashing their brilliant orange/yellow stripe from nose to dorsal fin! The parents are a sight to behold displaying and colored up during spawning! Still rather difficult to sex with high confidence at this point. Auction is for 8+ unsexed juveniles. A male from my breeding colony is pictured below (I apologize for motion artifact). SHIPPING: I ship on Mondays and Tuesdays as a rule and only after secured payment is received. All my fish are shipped in 3/4" styro-lined corrugated boxes that are padded extensively. I ship only via USPS and cost is $15 fixed for Priority but Express shipping rate is determined by your zip code (email me with your zip for ship quote). Although I have high confidence Priority shipped fish will arrive in good order, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EXPRESS SHIPPING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FISH as well as the extreme summer heat that some areas of the country have been experiencing lately. Rainbows are quite prone to ammonia burn so all fish are fasted for 24-48 hours pre-shipping and shipped individually in small Kordon breather bags. Fish will be given a nice water change also the night prior to shipping. PAYMENT: PayPal is preferred payment method (payment expected within 24 hours auction close) but will accept money orders as well. Please let me know which payment method I should be looking for after auction close. DOA POLICY: Live arrival guaranty with USPS Express only with submission of clear pic of all/any dead fish in original and unopened shipping bag within 2 hours of delivery. Any extra fish that are shipped are designed to cover DOA's and are not covered by DOA policy. I will ship replacement fish or refund for DOA's but any re-shipping costs need to be covered by you.
