Description

Hi, you are bidding on a starter kit for Melanotaenia praecox 'Pagai' F2. Included will be a mop of 25 to 30 eggs and powdered food for the small fry. Optional will be an adult trapdoor snail for $2.00. What the snail will do is help ensure that most of the babies will live because when they are small they can eat infursia provided by the snail. The snail will not eat the small fry. These fish get approximately 2.5 to 3 inches long. They are very easy to take care of as adults. When this male flashes at the other females and males it is GORGEOUS!! There is a story to how we got these fish. We got these fish from Gary Lange who went to Pagai. We recieved aggs from him from the fish he caught in Pagia. So that makes our breeders F1 and their eggs F2's. This only happened about 8-9 months ago and that is why the fish don't have as much color as they would in the wild, but they will as soon as they get older. I have hatched a ton of these and they have a great success rate at their eggs hatching. Also, our stock of fish comes from the best gene pools around, garunteed. I will send the eggs out in a breather bag just in case the fry start to hatch. Priority shipping is $13. We garuntee you that our eggs will hatch and that you will get the amount of fry that you want in your tank. If the first mop doesn't work, we will ship out another one, shipping on us.
