Tunes!! Hello folks! Happy April! This offering is for a Breeding Group of Apistogramma cacatuoides "orange flash" consisting of 1 Male and 3 Females. These fish were bred by me in this little fish room I had running here before I got to build my new fish room I am now working out of. I took a whole bunch of photo's of the 4 fish you are bidding on plus the larger breeding tank they were in earlier today. In my opinion it's best to get started with Apistos using a male along with a few females and that's exactly what I am offering here. All too often folks spend a lot of cash on a nice breeding Pr only to have their male kill the female a few days later cuz he was ready to rock and she wasn't. Then what will you do? You'll have 1 awesome fired up male and nothing to breed him with. I like to offer each female a cave and then when I see eggs or wigglers inside the cave I pull the cave out and hatch the eggs in a 5 gallon bare bucket so I can see the fry and feed them without the fry and food all disappearing into the gravel. I will also send you a group of 5 young Ricefish I have also been breeding here, you can use them as dither fish in the breeding tank and breed them too! I have the "Miyuki Super Long Line" strain also called Platinum rice fish here in the USA and I'll make sure to send both sexes of those too. These are egg hangers and VERY easy to work with. I'll also send you some dry foods both these species are used to eating but really you will want to keep feeding them frozen foods and even some live blackworms or mosquito larva or any other conditioning foods you can get your hands on the keep all 3 females producing eggs regularly for you.
