Description

bioAquatiX 3Italian Vallisneria + 3Hornwort   Italian Vallisneria, is a very undemanding, fast growing species of Vallisneria. Its leaves are narrow ribbon that can grow up to 12+ inches. As the plant grows and establishes itself in the aquarium, it creates a perfect dense habitat for small fish and shrimps to hide into and forage. In the wild it does produce flower stalks that break away at the water surface and float before germinating. They rarely produce flower stems in the aquarium and are just propagated by runners. Leaves that are dying off can also be removed by lifting them away at the base. It is a good addition to the aquarium. Size: 6-8 inches Quantity:3 Hornwort (Ceratophyllum Demersum) is a popular aquarium plant with stems that reach lengths of 3–10 ft, with numerous side shoots making a single specimen appear big and bushy. Individual male and female flowers are produced on the same plant. The flowers are small, 2 mm long, with eight or more greenish-brown petals. This species is often used as a floating freshwater plant in both cold water and tropical aquariums, though they will attach themselves to the substrate or any other solid objects in your tank or bowl. Hornwort works well in bioBowls and nano tanks with a temperature range from 60F to 85F. It's easy to grow and maintain and does not require high levels of light.
