This week's auction is for a group of 15 young(1/4"-1/2")unsexed spotted green swordtails and a young pair of chromaphyosemion volcanum Ekondo Titi. The swords are out of a strain originally introduced to Western NY by Pete Mang. They are a large strain with females reaching about 4". I like them as they are but I know some local livebearer guys were using the strain to cross into other color variants to add spots to their strains. I saw some really nice spotted red swords a local hobbyist produced using this strain. I'm also including a young pair of killifish. They will require some heat. I have best results keeping them at around 78 degrees. At room temp egg production all but stops. They are mop spawners. I hand pick the eggs and store them in water in a covered margarine container. They hatch in about 10 days. These are young fish and are not yet laying viable eggs. Be patient. They are feeding on Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp, chopped frozen bloodworm and live blackworms. I'll also include a microworm starter culture for when you start getting fry. Shipping is $15 non-refundable, on top of the winning auction bid. It includes an insulated box and appropriate heat packs to get your fish to you in excellent condition. At the close of auction, I will contact the winning bidder via email to arrange for payment(via Paypal only) and shipping. I am shipping these fish on Tuesday 8/15/18. This auction will close Saturday 8/12/18 and payment is expected by Sunday 8/13/18 at 12pm EST. If payment is not received by that time the auction will be relisted. The reason is that it takes me 48 hours to prepare your fish for shipping. Thanks for looking.
