Description

This auction is for 15 unsexed, juvenile, spotted green swordtails. They are a line of swordtails that made their way into Western NY via Pete Mang a number of years ago. They are a very large bodied fish when adult. The females get around 4". They are a beautiful fish in their own right but I know some local livebearer folks were using the strain to add the spotted trait to other colors of swordtail as well. There was an older hobbyist here, who has since passed away, that used the strain to create spotted, brick red swords which I had seen when I toured his fish room a few years ago. Since I should have some extra room in the box, I'll also include a young pair of chromaphyosemion volcanum ekondo titi to work with. They are a mop spawning killifish that once matured are easy to spawn, hatch and raise. They can be maintained at room temperature. I'll include a couple of the synthetic yarn spawning mops I use in my fish room for the killifish. Please note that this auction will close on a Friday. It will ship that Monday. As such, payment(via Paypal only) is due by Saturday at noon EST. The reason being that I have to prep the fish for shipment. If payment is not made by the deadline, the auction will be cancelled and relisted. Shipping is $15 on top of the winning auction bid and includes an insulated box and necessary heat packs to get the fish to you in excellent condition. When the auction closes, I will contact the winning bidder via email to coordinate shipping. Thanks for looking.
