Hello folks! Happy October! This offering is for 3 Pr's of Quality Rainbowfish at breeding size showing Adult color. These all came from my hobbyist friends Diane's fish room and I actually caught them all myself to see if I could actually pick out Pr's. of Rainbows. Some ain't as easy to sex as others you know? Anyway I have had all three Pr.s here in my fish room for a few weeks now and I am happy to say they definitely are M/F pairs. These are EASY to breed mop spawners especially if you set them up to spawn in a bare tank with mops, allow them to spawn and then simply put the Pr. you wanted eggs from back into your larger planted tank after they load the mop up full of eggs. Here's what you are bidding on. 1 Pr. of Dority's rainbowfish, Glossolepis dorityi a Pair of Turquoise Rainbows, Melanotaenia lacustris and finally a Pair of Boeseman's Rainbowfish, Melanotaenia boesemani! Now listen, these Rainbow fish are almost impossible for me to get good photo's of so check out these 3 links- Dorityi and Turquoise and M. boesemani so you can get an idea of how NICE these fish actually are! Put these fish in a well planted tank and they will blow you away and I'll bet you become a Rainbowfish fan for life! When I picked these fish up I also ended up leaving with a couple of Diane's Betta's and I photographed one of them for this offering this morning. I am no where near an expert on Fancy Betta's but this one really caught my eye when I was horse trading for these Rainbows and you can check him out below too. Diane called it a Half Moon Betta and I think she was calling it a Dragon fin or dragon scale but I didn't write it down and can't remember exactly what she was calling it I just liked it so I ended up leaving with it too! If you allow me to SHIP in a timely manner I will include him also. I have been keeping him in with my wild caught Corydoras which seems to work out awesome cuz he completely ignores them and they don't have any interest in him and they all get plenty of food to eat cuz the Cory's feed at or near the bottom and he likes to eat near the top. Diane keeps all her Male Betta's jarred. If you ain't into keeping him jarred and you don't have Corydoras tanks just tell me you don't want him and I will send him off to someone else this week! Lastly I am going to send you some good quality foods for these Rainbowfish along with a couple mops. If you feed these Rainbows high quality foods you WILL end up seeing them breeding in your planted tank more often then you would imagine. Just keep those mops handy cuz I an betting you decide to try breeding a Pr. sooner or later and then you will have the mops handy to do it! And that's it for this week. I've got the car packed up and I am fired up to go down to the cabin. The weather is going to be awesome for October and I am READY to ROCK. Sunday afternoon when I drain the water lines and winterize that cabin I'll probably come home wearing a sour puss so bid on my offerings so I have something to cheer me up!
