Hello folks!
Happy October!
Here's Conrad's auction description he gave me earlier today when he dropped off all these nice fish -
I gave Pete 8 young (about 1 inch long) Julidochromis transcriptus gombi.
The parents of these fish(not part of this auction) have been breeding for about a year now. They are very dark with distinct markings(not washed-out) with iridescent blue in the fins.
This is a strain Im very pleased to have in my fishroom.
I E mailed a photo of the parent fish taken this morning to Pete (I'm not a photographer).
8 juvenile Neolamprologus leleupi.
These are getting to be nice size and are about 1 3/4 inches long. I sold off the breeder's this Summer, when these are gone they are gone!
These are the lemon yellow variety. Pete has photos of the parents he took when we offered them over the Summer.
I also gave Mr. Mang no less than 15 fundulopanchax gardneri misaje eggs to mess around with.
Place the entire contents of the bag into a margarine container and put it in a dark place.
Check on it every day. Pull the free swimming fry out with a small turkey baster and into a tank or container with aged water. The fry are very hardy. Upon hatching they will eat microworms and baby brine shrimp. But will soon eat finely crushed flake(I use Tetramin) and 5-50 micron golden pearls. They grow fast and the sex ratio is nearly 1:1 male to female. I keep my Killifish and eggs at room temp(about 72-74).
I know everyone is not as into the hobby as some of us are so if you don't want the hassle of hatching eggs let Pete know and he'll send them to somebody that does! Believe me it can be a lot of fun and can be really rewarding. once you get some size on these Killifish.
I also gave him a microworm starter culture
6 assassin snails great for ridding a tank of nuisance snails.
A cutting of red wendtii
A cutting of bolbitis heudelotii
These plants do really well in my tanks. I have hard Lake Erie tap water and standard fluorescent lighting over my tanks(single bulb). I do nothing special and they grow well. And remember these smaller Tanganyikan cichlids to NOT eat plants.
Thank you for the excellent description Conrad!
Listen up folks, once again I will not be shipping between Thanksgiving and The New Year. It's just too unreliable and too many boxes get lost or hung up for days at a time. But I am also not going to be just goofing off during this period of time like I have in the past years and I will have more to say about this as we get closer to Thanksgiving. And it's all GOOD News. In the mean time find an offering to bid on! We really try to put some nice package deals together full of HEALTHY, interesting fish for you folks!
I will include some high quality foods these fish are used to eating daily!
Shipping is always FREE with all my offerings AND I guaranteeing live arrival of HEALTHY fish that look like they do in my photo's.

I am sick of loading photo's into this offering so trust me when I say I will send you a Microworm Culture that looks just like a Microworm Culture too!
