Hello folks! Happy January! Right before I took my annual holiday break I started offering some fish from Dianne's fish room and I am happy to say she wants to work with me some more now that I am shipping again! This offering is for 2 Pr's. of Dianne's Melanotaenia splendida australis, also sometimes called 8 Line Rainbow fish plus I am going to also send you a group of 5 Young but already sexable Furcata Rainbows from my fish room too. You WILL be able to spawn these 8 Line Rainbows right after the box arrives. They were spawning over in Dianne's fish room and they are now spawning here in mine. They are in tip top breeding condition! The Furcata's are sexable but my guess would be they are about 6 weeks from breeding age. I WILL also have room for MORE fish in this box AND I will add some more stuff to it IF you allow me to ship in a TIMELY manner. Stuff you will also be able to breed or put into a community tank! Take advantage of the way I do business folks. Sometimes folks end up REALLY getting into the "free stuff" I send if you cooperate AND there's actually space in the box for more. These mop spawning Rainbow Fish are a lot of FUN to breed and they are EASY to breed too. When you notice your Female Rainbow fish look plump simply add a spawning mop to their tank and then check the mop every day about 2 hours after you turn your tank lights on. Many times you will see eggs in the mop within hours of adding it to their tank. Then simply remove the mop and place it in water that does not have predators in it that will eat your new eggs and fry. I like to use 5-gallon buckets to hatch egglayers in but anything that holds water will do. And if you screw something up and you don't get any fry all you have to do is reintroduce the mops and start over again. Speaking of mops I will send you 2 of them, one floating mop and one sinking mop! I will also send you some high-quality foods to feed these fish and any fry you may encounter!
