Hello folks! Happy January! This offering was originally going to be for 3 Large Syncrossus berdmorei loaches but about 6 weeks ago while feeding my fish I noticed 1 of them was missing from their securely covered tank. These are BIG and hardy 6-inch loaches so I figured it was most likely still alive flopping around somewhere so I started looking for it on the fish room floor. 6 weeks have now passed and I have yet to find it. I have also yet to smell it and I bet I have now spent at least 6 hours looking around the floor of my fish room trying to figure out where the heck this fish ended up??????? I think it is a mystery that will never be solved. 3 of these big loaches would have filled one of my shipping boxes quite nicely BUT since I only have the 2 now here's what you are bidding on. Win this offering and I will send you 2 LARGE Syncrossus berdmorei along with 8 unsexed 1 inch long Blood Dragon Peacocks. Here's what you need to know about these fish. You can keep Berdmorei loaches with just about any fast moving larger fish. They would do well with Rainbow Fish, Larger Danio's and really any fish they can not swallow whole that stays on the move. But they REALLy end up working out best in Cichlid tanks. They will do well in both South American Cichlid tanks and African Cichlid tanks. They are fast enough and tough enough to handle themselves well in Mbuna tanks as well as large South American tanks. They will also come out and fight for their fair share of the foods at feeding time. Loaches On-line claims "they are the most striking and spectacular member of the Tiger "Botia" group". I like them just cuz they are so hard to find and they get so large. Who wouldn't want a couple foot long Berdmorei loaches swimming around with their large Mbuna's? To fill up the extra space I will have in the box due to the mysterious disappearance of one of these loaches I will also send you 8 Young Blood Dragon Peacocks. These were born right here in the fish room a couple Months ago and I even added some photos of their parents below. Just to be clear, you will be receiving 8 1 inch Peacocks and NOT the Adults.
