Hello folks! This is the LAST Breeding Group available. This offering is for a Breeding Group of Adult Melanotaenia splendida australis from Diane's fishroom. I have seen these called 8 Line Red Tail Rainbows a few times when I have seen them at local pet shops. You will receive 3 Males along with 2 Females. These fish have been producing LOTS of eggs here in my fish room and if you want to spawn them I am including a new type of kit with this offering. You will receive all the foods you will need to raise several hundred Egg Layer fry, 2 Mops 1 floating and 1 sinking and a magnifying glass with this offering too. If you just want to buy a NICE Group of Rainbow fish for a planted tank just put all those foods in a zip lock bag and freeze them! They WILL come in handy one day in the future when you suddenly get the urge to try breeding some egglayers OR you get up one morning and you see a bunch of unplanned egglayer fry in one of your tanks! Diane says 3 Males along with 2 Females is fine for breeding and in a community tank you will get to see lots of "flashing" as these 3 Males compete for the attention of the 2 Females. You outta see these Rainbows breeding here! They are beautiful. I have always mostly been a fan of the Smaller Blue Eye dwarf rainbows but after seeing so many adult rainbows in breeding condition over in Diane's fishroom and then watching the spawning here I have really taken an interest in the larger rainbows! And it sure seems to be pretty easy to get a mop full of eggs from these fish! Of coarse it helps to be working with rainbows that are already old enough to breed and in breeding condition! Try some of Diane's fish out folks! You will NOT be disappointed! When the box arrives toss the mop into a small tank like a 2 1/2 and wait for them to hatch!
