Hello folks! Happy August Everyone! This offering is for anyone wanting to try keeping and breeding some EASY to breed yet beautiful Aphyosemion type mop spawning Killies! These Aphyosemion australe orange are one of the species most of the hard core Killie breeders first started off with yet decades later many of them still continue to maintain them in their fish rooms. These will lay their eggs in plants or mops and there is no need to dry them out and store them in peat moss. Eggs take about 14 days to hatch so there's no real incubation and the fry are easy to raise if you have microworms like the ones that come free with all my Killie offerings! Here's 3 other GOOD reasons to bid on them this week. Greg is an idiot and forgot to bring mops with the fish so I will send you one of my brand new BIG nice mops in their place, I want to go on vacation soon so I need the money and lastly cuz my fish ROCK!! Seriously folks, you outta be able to get these wonderful little fish breeding in a tank as small as a 2 1/2 gallon and the quality of Greg's fish can not be beat! I also have some NICE algae free HEALTHY Hornwort I will send you with this offering too which you could also use for spawning these Killie's. Here's how you do it with live plants. As soon as you see the fish are spawning (they are not shy you WILL know when they are actively breeding) just leave the hornwort with them for 14 days. Then on day 15 remove all the hornwort and place it in an empty tank with a sponge filter. Over the next 14 days you will see baby's hatching almost every day. After 14 days put all the hornwort back with the breeders and start all over again!
