Hello folks! Happy July Everyone! This ONE TIME offering is for an awesome little group of 4 Julidochromis regani "Burundi" along with my last 3 Orange Laser Cory's. I took all the photo's for this offering last night while I had a bunch of local folks getting in the way down in the fish room so they really could have turned out a little better. I keep these fish just like most folks keep Apistogrammas except instead of worrying about the hardness and PH of the water I just keep them in my hard alkaline tap water and they ALWAYS end up breeding for me and I always wonder why I don't keep more of these type of fish in the fish room. You can breed them in a tank as small as a 10 gallon but I like to use at least a 20 gallon cuz once they start breeding a 10 gallon fills up with fish pretty quickly. I also consider these to be Dwarf Cichlids. What makes these fish so much FUN to keep is the fact you can raise several spawns from the same Pr. up TOGETHER in the same tank and they ALL get along just fine. When some of the fry oldest fry reach about an inch simply net them out and start selling them! That makes room for the younger fish to grow and keeps everything flowing nicely so you don't end up running out of tank space for them. I found a decent moving picture on YouTube showing a woman's breeding group and all the different sized fry she had growing up together in a small tank she had set up for breeding. You can check it out HERE .As you can see she set up her tank with a lot of rocks. These ARE cave spawners so rocks are good! You are bidding on the 4 fish you can see below. They are young adults and ready to start breeding NOW. The 2 larger fish are about 2/1/2 inches long, the other 2 fish are a little under 2 inches. These are hard to sex BUT when I bought them I picked out the 2 largest fish along with the 2 smallest fish and odds are very good that these are 2 Pairs. These fish came form a reputable breeder who breeds and sells QUALITY Julidochromis. ++Important++ Do NOT win these fish and attempt to keep them with Lake Malawi Cichlids. These are PEACEFUL Dwarf Cichlids you can keep with community tank fish NOT aggressive mouth brooding Malawi fish. Keep them with these awesome Orange Laser's and perhaps some larger Tetra's if you want and you WILL have good luck messing with them! You CAN also keep plants with them and I always find the fry grow a little faster with some plants growing in the tank! Try these unique and interesting Cichlids out folks! You won't regret it and if you live in an area with harder water like I do they will me MUCH EASIER to keep and breed than Apistogramma's and certain South American Dwarf Cichlids will be!
