Hello folks!Happy Friday! This offering is for 6 2 inch long Cyrtocara moorii that were dropped off here yesterday. You WILL receive BOTH SEXES. I ALSO want to offer these in the mixed lots category SO I will send you something else COOL I think you will get into in this box! These are also Conrad Jr's. fish and they are sweet! These fish used to be called Haplochromis moorii and I have seen them called "Dolphin Cichlids" many times. These are mouth brooding Lake Malawi cichlids but I don't recommend you keep them with other rough and tumble Mbuna's. For these to do best I recommend you keep them more like South American cichlids. In fact, treat them like you would treat Angelfish, Severums or even Discus and you will be rewarded with NICE big healthy moorii and they will breed for you too! HERE are some nice photo's of Adults and a little information on them. By the way, the reason I don't recommend keeping these in with other aggressive Lake Malawi Africans is because Moorii just aren't very aggressive but they grow fast. What happens is in a Lake Malawi community tanks the other smaller more aggressive Male Cichlids like Auratus, or Zebras, or Demonsoni constantly chase and nip at these larger Moorii and you end up with these beat up, stressed out, soon to be dead Cyrtocara moorii. Instead set these up with some beautiful Rainbow fish or even some nice big Swordtails or Barbs or Sharks and you'll end up with some big beautiful BREEDING show quality Cyrtocara moorii! Trust me!
