Hello folks! Happy Fall everyone! This offering is for 2 Pr's of Aphyosemion splendopleure "Ombe". These Aphyosemion splendopleure are one of the EASY to breed Killie's and they are really pretty hard to find so GIVE THESE A TRY! The first time Greg offered me some of these to sell I book marked a real nice overview on this species and you can go check it out by clicking HERE You know something, you new hobbyists really have it made and I would bet most newer hobbyists don't have a clue how hard it used to be to FIND fish like these. When I was young there was NO Internet, AquaBid, E BAY or companies that shipped fish to peoples doors. My father and I would receive Innes's Tropical Fish Magazine "The Aquarium" once a Month and all we could do is check out photo's of rare fish and read articles like the one I linked to for you and wonder if the local fish store was EVER going to get any cool fish in for us to blow money on. These have a nice Violet sheen on their body's and they will end up with bright Green and Yellow fins! They also stay small and only get about 1 1/2 inches long! What REALLY makes them special is they are one of the Killie species that most folks end up breeding by doing nothing other than feeding them. If you set these up in a small tank with plants odds are very good soon enough you will start seeing youngsters swimming around with the parents. I highly recommended these Killie's especially for folks who would like to try breeding some but like to use the hands off approach.
