Hello folks! Happy Summer everyone! I am heading to the great State of Ohio tomorrow early to hang out with a bunch of Hobbyists so there will be limited amounts of offerings this week. I would like to say I will be coming back with LotsOfFish but I had so many customers JAM me up and not allow me to ship in a timely manner this week I don't have any tank space here to bring any new fish into the fish room. This offering is for 2 Pr's of Young Aphyosemion splendopleure "Ombe". I REALLY like these fish simply because they don't have a lot of red in them. There's more to the hobby than red fish you know? These have a nice Violet sheen on their body's and they will end up with bright Green and Yellow fins! They also stay small and only get about 1 1/2 inches long! What REALLY makes them special is they are one of the Killie species that most folks end up breeding by doing nothing other than feeding them. If you set these up in a small tank with plants odds are very good soon enough you will start seeing youngsters swimming around with the parents. I highly recommended these Killie's especially for folks who would like to try breeding some but like to use the hands off approach. I am out of spawning mops right now but I WILL add some Java Moss, some "soft" Hornwort and, some Utricularia macrorhiza to this offering so you have 3 different types of floating plants for these fish to lay eggs in! I will also add some Mix #2 cuz Killie's REALLY chow down on it and a Microworm culture and magnifying glass too! Expect something else too UNLESS you jam me up and don't allow me to ship in a timely manner.
