Why Juvies- I don�t ship live from Thanksgiving until the first week of January. That�s when THESE are going to reach peak coloration, and be BREEDING. Might as well get them NOW, so they are displaying and breeding for YOU during the holiday season , that�s quickly approaching !!! They are about � of an inc right now, eyeballed, and have female colorations. When they cooperate ( stay still) I can take a great guess at sexing them by the anal fins at this point !!! But I can�t guarentee sex ratio. I am tossing in a SURPRISE floating plant, a SURPRISE stem plant, And a SURPRISE rooted plant. ( Portions will be �standard� according to type of plant- ex- stem plant would be a bunch, not a single stem ). They hanf the eggs up in the plants�( or mops) and do NOT eat the eggs. In a well planted tank, you will have surviving fry!!! These are HEALTHY, TANK raised fish, Their �baby� photo is above. They were about 4 -6 weeks old in that photo.
