Hello Aquabidders! If you're anything like me & you hate a challenge, this auction is for you. Winners of this auction will receive 1 trio of Fundulopanchax scheeli, the emerald killy & 5 ( 3 males & 2 females) Epiplatys dageti monroviae, the firemouth killy. These will all be young fish which are just beginning to breed or will be doing so very soon. I originally started out with one pair of each species in a 10 gallon with a sponge filter & loaded with Java moss & floating water sprite, & now, a few months later I have them coming out of my ears. The fry are able to hide from their parents in the plants & can to grow to maturity in the same tank as the adults. I also keep a floating mop with strands that reach to the bottom to pick eggs from. The Epiplatys spawn in the top part of the mop, the scheeli in the bottom. The fish eat everything, including Lotsoffish's mix #2, which both the babies & the adults eat with gusto. You'll receive some LM2 along with the fish. USPS priority shipping is FREE! Express shipping will run you $40 clams. Fish will be shipped in breather bags in an insulated box. Thanks for looking & good luck!
