Hello folks! Happy Thursday everyone! We are entering the BEST 4-5 weeks of shipping weather of the YEAR! Win some AUCTIONS NOW and get some cool STUFF to screw around with before the COLD weather hits. This offering is for my LAST breeding Pr. of Cichlasoma amazonarum along with some dither fish. For a VERY GOOD overview of these fish click HERE These fish are pretty hard to find in the USA and I found them to be very easy to work with. They will NOT kill or beat up dither fish in their tank while breeding and I bred all mine in 10 gallons and 20 gallon longs so they didn't have very much room either. In fact these are the PERFECT fish for anyone wanting to try breeding a fish that actually cares for it's own eggs and fry. Another thing nice about them is UNLIKE Convicts I found them to be EASY to sell and in good demand. I'll never understand why so many folks breed convicts so often. The Convict markets been flooded for the last 40 years! You are bidding on the Pr. in the moving picture and first 3 photo's below. Notice they are guarding eggs in a tank full of Swordtails and the Swordtails are NOT getting beat up or killed? They now have all these fry in the front right corner of this tank and they are still protecting them from those Swordtails. All I need to do is drop some Lotsoffish Mix #2 down to them 2 or 3 times a day and all is well! I will also send you a group of 6 assorted Swordtails to keep in the same tank as this Pr. You SHOULD keep something in with them because if you don't they will not have anything to protect their eggs and fry from and will become confused on what they are supposed to be doing and confused Pr's. end up fighting each other and eating their own eggs or fry!Here's another tip- Don't keep Ancistrus in breeding tanks with egglayers like these cuz they will EAT all the eggs at night once these cichlids go to sleep and you will wake up to a big fat Bristenose in your tank and NO EGGS anywhere. I also have an auction for 10 of these fish at a little under an inch this week. You may want to check that offering out too. This is the LAST Pr. of these fish I am offering.
