Description

Here is a package that I have put together for people interested in keeping and breeding dwarf freshwater shrimp such as Crystal Red and Cherry shrimp. This kit includes a portion of snail free Java Moss which the shrimp love and will constantly graze on. Java Moss is one of the easiest plants to grow and does not require any special needs. I will also include three black lava rocks (rocks may vary from those shown)that will contain a great bio- load after being in tank for a while, the shrimp love eating off of these rocks and I have them in all of my tanks. I will include 5 large catappa leaves which will help lower the ph slightly in your tank and also create bio film that the shrimp will love. I will also include (5) 5.0 ml droppers/pipettes. The droppers/pipettes measure 6" long and are graduated with marks for .5ml and 1 ml for a total of 5.0 ml.They are a handy and inexpensive tool that is a must. They have multiple uses. The dropper/pipette can be used for drip acclimation for sensitive shrimp species. They can be used to fill test tubes for water testing. They can be used for feeding live foods. They can be used for dosing medications, fertilizers, supplements, additives, trace elements, calcium etc, a glass shrimp feeding dish to place solid shrimp food such as sinking pellet or mosura, shirakura food. I will also include .15 oz of a special shrimp food in a stay fresh glass container with included dosing spoon. I have been using this food in my shrimp tanks for over 5 years and have had good success with it. This very fine food will float at the surface and sink slowly, the shrimp love this food. Finally I will include a glass planaria trap. Planaria are tiny little worms that appear in shrimp tanks when you overfeed. Simply place some extra fish food or a tiny piece of meat in the trap and remove after a few hrs. The planaria will be in the glass tube along with the uneaten food and you can dispose of the contents. Shipping is $5.80 via U.S.P.S Priority Mail.
