Hello folks! Happy Friday! As I have been saying I can only ship Tues. and Weds. next week so I can't really run the full compliment of auctions this week BUT I do have a couple cool ones I have been wanting to offer and this is one of them. Win this auction and I will send you a NICE sexed Pr. of Dwarf Green Pikes also called Crenicichla compressiceps! This is the ONLY Pr. I have so don't bother E Mailing me about more. I got a customer a couple Pr. of these a couple Months ago and part of my price was he buy ME a Pr. too once I tracked them down and got him some! LOL! Anyway these are HARD to find and AWESOME dwarf cichlids to mess with. I took a few photo's of them to show you how to sex them too. It's pretty straight foreword. Males have those distinct bands in their tails and females don't. It can't get much easier than that. Oh, and you ARE bidding on the actual Pr. in my photo's below. They are doing AWESOME and eating well and I even took the time to get them aggressively eating dry foods, something they don't really like to do at first. These were wild caught and am now eating Earthworm flakes and Mini Earth worm flakes WELL. I am also going to send you 8 Peach Glofish Danio's with this auction to use as dither fish with these dwarf pikes AND I am going to send you a brand new Nylon Mesh Bag with this auction. It took me forever to find these bags after seeing some fish breeders over in Indonesia using them to breed Celestial Pearl Danios in. These things ROCK for breeding ANY egg scatterers and my photo's and moving picture outta explain exactly how to do this. Fill up something (I use 5 gallon buckets) add an air stone and add the Nylon Mess Bag. Add a SMALL stone to the bag to hold it down and in place, add a small amount of green yarn, Java Moss, Hornwort, whatever as long as the fish will scatter eggs over it and then when they are done spawning simply lift out the mesh bag, put the fish back in their tank and you INSTANTLY have a 5 gallon bucket FULL of eggs! 90% of the eggs end up on the bottom of the bucket cuz they fall through the mess netting! It doesn't get much simpler than this and it only took me 30 years to give this method a try (I am a slow learner!) Here's why you outta try this. These Dwarf Pike have small mouths. They won't eat or kill these Danio's but they WILL eat their fry and this will be a GREAT food to condition them up to breed! But it gets even BETTER cuz these Peach Glofish are the result of a cross I did between Red Glofish and Green Glofish and I happen to know when you spawn these fish you WILL get some Red and Green fish out of them too! Look folks, I know I am CRAZY but I am also trying to keep the hobby INTERESTING and FUN, not for you, for me cuz I do this everyday for a living!
