Odessa Barbs, Albino Ancistrus, Naja Grass with Sakuri Shrimp. Odessa Barbs seem to be the forgotten jewels of the community tank. I believe that is mostly because they have a reputation as being fin nippers. However, I have found if kept in groups of at least 5 they are so busy keeping track of each other, they forget they have a nasty reputation.The Odessa is an excellent egg layer for the first time breeder to mess with.For first time breeders or if you are just curious, click on Odessa Barbs. Odessa Barbs The first video will be a fairly short view of the parents of my Odessa Barbs. The duller one is, of course the female while the bright ruby jewel is the male. What you will receive will be 9 immature fish who all look like females. It is impossible to sex these at this age as they do not mature until they are 5 - 6 months old. These are about half there. Then the second movie is a close up of my 125 gallon community tank. See if you can spot the Odessas. You will notice my fish have not had their fins whittled on thus, proving that in proper numbers, the Odessa has more to think about when keeping track of each other. LOL and now the 3rd movie of the Odessas you will receive. Ok,here is the breeding pair. NOWWWWWW here is my community tank I will also include a a nice bag of Naja (guppy grass). This plant was used in my breeding tank. It was a great place for the eggs to be scattered in and it is good snacking and provides a nice place for the safety of the fry. If there are any Sakuri Shrimp hanging on to the Naja, as I lift a handful from the tank, you will get those too. If not I will pluck out a net of some. I can not guarantee how many shrimp you will get but I guarantee you will get some. The fish you see in the picture are not included but, are some of my Rainbow Xiphophorus variatus. Some of these show the blue. Up next in this listing are 3 young Albino short fin Ancistrus. You can see their size by comparing them to the adult guppys that, are in the tank with them. The color of them is horrible, they are a nice albino. I really need my old broken camera! This next video is of my Albino Ancistrus that was taken about 4 months ago with my now broken old Sony, the genetics are exactly the same. I sell nice stuff.
