Hello Folks! Happy Friday Folks! If you want an all around NICE box of fish from me try this auction out. I had a real enjoyable time packing this auction for last weeks winner and I KNOW they are going to be VERY happy with what arrived in their box. This is ALSO the last time I will be able to offer it. This auction here is for 6 Gourami's many of you may have never seen. That's cuz most pet shops won't get them in cuz they either can't find any or they are cowards and think these are too tough to keep alive. And sometimes they are, especially if the ones you acquire are already half dead and sickly. Lucky for you I sometimes actually know what I am doing when it comes to this fish stuff so I am glad to say- This auction is for 6 100% totally HEALTHY Chocolate Gouramis, Sphaerichthys osphromenoides! In fact these are in such nice shape I am actually going to try breeding them for about the 4th time in my life. I have never been able to breed them but I kept one alive in a 12 ounce coffee cup once for a full 27 days. I took all the photos below last Friday. Those are the same batch of fish you are bidding on. These fish are a timid, shy mouth brooding Gourami. They are the kind of fish you put in a tank with some plants and maybe a small species of livebearer, perhaps a few cardinal tetras and they THRIVE in that setting. I ain't going to send you ALL that stuff with them but if you win this auction you WILL receive some of that stuff along with a good amount of foods these fish will aggressively eat cuz that's half the secret with these Chocolate Gouramis. They almost never eat flakes but they will wolf down decapsulated Brine Shrimp Eggs and Golden Pearls like there's no tomorrow if you know enough to offer those to them! Lastly you do NOT have to keep these in soft acidic water like some websites claim you do. I know that cuz I have harder alkaline water and I bet I have kept more of these fish happy in that water than ANY author has ever even kept period. They DO need to be kept in CLEAN water though so just do your regular weekly partial water changes with these fish and you will do fine with them. I don't have any Cardinals so you will have to get them elsewhere if you now have your heart set on a few of those too!
