Description

Up for auction is a very cool pair of fish. One of my favorites that I was finally able to get my hands on. I got some last year off Aquabid. Then this season I got some again from another Aquabid seller since I never was able to import them. Well I imported some in some time ago. They are crenicichla regani. The female is 2.5 inches in size and the male a little larger. They are eating frozen blood worms, frozen brine, and freeze dried blood worms and brine shrimp. They are also eating little fry I give them from other fish spawns. The pair I had from last year had just spawned for the first time. I had them with a group of tetras. They did not even bother the tetras but once the eggs were wigglers they were gone. Not sure what happened. These are not very aggressive fish. They spawned in a 20 long. You DO NOT need a huge tank for these fish. Grow these Crenicichla out and you can spawn them too. In this auction I am going to send you one sexed pair of these dwarf pikes. Pics were from a past pair I put up for auction and this is the absolute last pair I am going to part with until I spawn them. The female you get may have two spots. The only reason I am parting with another pair is I have all my dwarf pike separated into pairs and they are taking up 14 of my 20 gallon longs.I need tank space for a few other things I have going on. They darkened up a bit once I put them in the container for pictures. They were pissed. I am also going to send you five Cory Melini. These guys will do perfect with these dwarf pike.
