Description

Danios, Rasboras and Barbs Oh My!

Microdevario kubotai, Trigonostigma heteromorpha & Pethia phutino

6 OF EACH SPECIES plus PLANTS

These are AWESOME community fish. A mix of some of the best Asia has to offer.
Microdevario kubotai has been around for only a couple years or so, and has been sold under the common names of neon yellow rasbora or Kubota's rasbora. Not a rasbora, but most definitely neon yellow! This nano fish rarely hits 1" and will shine like little lemon drop jewels, especially in a planted tank. Very hardy and very active. They make use of all levels of the aquarium.
The harlequin rasbora (Trigonostigma heteromorpha) is a classic. This is one of the most popular aquarium species ever. Pretty, active and hardy.
Pethia (Puntius) phutino is one of the pretty small barbs coming out of India. The common name is dwarf green barb. They stay small, are not at all aggressive and shine with a pretty emerald green sheen with black stripes.
Since this is a mix of Asian fish, let's include some Asian plants. I will send at least four species from a mix that can include Nymphaea lilies, Cryptocoryne, various species of Hygrophila and ferns. I will send enough plants to give you a good start in a 20H aquarium.
Shipping and handling is flat rate $45 for Express Mail MAYBE less if the box is traveling one zone away from Wisconsin. Priority Mail is NOT AN OPTION this time of year (plus the rate calculations for Priority are all messed up since the USPS cost increases). I should be FedEx certified within a few weeks, but probably not in time for the end of this auction. PayPal payment required prior to shipment. Live guarantee (cost of fish) on boxes that arrive and are accepted within 30 hours of shipping. Images of dead fish in bags please.
