Hello Folks!Happy Friday! This auction is for a breeding group of 8 Wrestling 1/2 Beaks along with 7 good size Corydoras habrosus and 6 young Dwarf Ancistrus. I will send you Browns, Albino's and Red Marbles in that mix. I added a moving picture of some 1/2 beak fry from this group because I wanted to show you how IMPORTANT it is to feed these fry FLOATING FOODS. The fry NEVER come off the surface for at least the first 3 weeks so to successfully raise these fish you must feed them FLOATING fish foods. I find Golden Pearls work just awesomely but they can ONLY eat the smaller Micron sizes. I WILL send you some of that food too. They also need some cover in the form of surface floating plants and I will also send you some of that. With all the feeding happening up at the surface you will also need bottom feeders in this tank cuz any foods that makes it down to the bottom of your tank will be ignored and DECAY down there. That's what the Cory's and Ancistrus are for. Use these fish in the tank with your 1/2 beaks, it's important, they will grow quickly and you can breed them too, and poor water quality issues is said to cause breeding issues with these 1/2 Beaks. Lastly, I have read numerous times that diet is very important with these fish and they are difficult to breed because of that. Well, I feed this group my mix #2 almost exclusively and as soon as they got to breeding age they started dropping fry so either my food is good enough for these fish OR it's really water quality that is most important. Either way you will have all the tools you will need to keep these fish breeding and doing well for you!
