Hello Folks! Happy Labor Day Weekend. This auction is for some more breeding Honey Gourami's along with a bunch of other stuff from the tank I am breeding them in. I shot the moving picture above this week for a couple reasons. I wanted to show you all the Hornwort I would be sending you in this auction (all of it) and I wanted to show you HOW to tell your Honey Gourami's actually ARE breeding. Here's what to look for cuz it's very easy to not even notice there is fry in a tank like this. As soon as your Male Gourami's turn bright red AND they get that black bar running through their faces and chest and all the way down to their anal fins you can be sure that they are either breeding or they have eggs or fry in their tiny bubble nests. Remember these little guys are ONLY about 1 1/2 inches long. They also start chasing EVERYBODY away from their nests although they really don't cause any damage to other fish. their fry are a very unusual color too. They are solid BLACK. One way of removing their fry if you want to raise them separately is to just keep an eye on a breeding Male. He will eventually give away the location of his nest and you can then just scoop the entire spawn of fry out of the tank using something like a coffee cup. I have also had fry survive right in LOW stocked community tanks. This auction is for 2 Pairs of Honey Gourami's from the tank above. I will also send you 6 Young Adult Phallichthys fairweatheri from this tank along with 6 Young Ancistrus and 6 Assassin Snails also from this tank PLUS ALL the Hornwort from this tank. In fact, right after I send you all this stuff I am taking that 20 long right off the fish rack and I am setting up three 5 1/2 gallon tanks in it's spot. I need some SMALLER tanks to breed some stuff in. This is a NICE DEAL for anyone looking for a nice group of fish and snails that are all breeding or were born in the same tank together. Obviously I will not be able to run this auction again so don't miss out! I will include some HIGH QUALITY foods for all this stuff and as an extra bonus I will even send you a piece of small weighted driftwood I had somebody make for me cuz I am starting to think that African root wood is too hard for a lot of Ancistrus to eat. You can see what that wood looks like in the photo below. You will get one piece of my choice. Yes I know I am CRAZY but I recently noticed all MY softer drift wood was disappearing and getting smaller and ALL my African root wood wasn't. That tells me that root wood isn't eaten well by Plecos so I am no longer going to just assume it's good enough for them. Shipping is 100% on ME and I Guarantee live arrival of ALL healthy stuff!
