Hello folks! These are once again all from over at Ol' Conrad's fish room although I obviously have them here now cuz I had to HAVE THEM to photograph them. This auction is for a nice YOUNG breeding Pr. of Albino Ancistrus and would be a GREAT auction for somebody to win who has never bred any catfish/pleco's and wants to give it a whirl. Once these Ancistrus START breeding they are "good to go" and they almost always continue to breed regularly for the rest of their lives OR until they become so old the female isn't producing eggs any longer. This Pr. isn't even warmed up yet! All you will need to do to keep them happy and breeding is make sure you feed them GOOD QUALITY foods, offer them a cave or two, AND change some water on a semi regular basis. You CAN keep all the fry right in the same tanks as the adults and you will end up with more Ancistrus than you know what do do with AND ALL your tanks will have LOTS of catfish in them and ZERO algae and uneaten fish food in them. Give them a try, you WILL have success with them. I am ALSO going to send you a nice YOUNG Trio of Guppies. You can see them below. These are from a drop of Ol' Conrad's Black Moscow "aoc's" and he gets a male like this one about one time for every 500 of so "aoc" Males he raises. Notice it has some red in it AND has a matching Dorsal/tail? He USUALLY culls these and I have repeatedly asked him to raise one and we can offer it in an auction so perhaps somebody else can work with these Males and he finally did and that's what you can see below. I think you will most likely just get more "aoc's" from the first generation you breed BUT by the second or 3rd generation you outta see quite a few Males that look like the one below. These fish WILL get nice Delta tails along with good dorsals and a nice body shape too. They are just something a little different that Ol' Conrad just doesn't have the interest and space to work with. If I had an extra cave for these Ancistrus to breed in I would send you one but I don't but I WILL send you a nice handful of FLOATING plants with this auction along with some HIGH QUALITY foods for both the Ancistrus AND the Trio of Guppies.
