Description

Hello folks!
This auction is for the Mated Pr. of Dark Marble Angels you can see below.
I got these fish quite a while ago when my friend Karen was learning how to ship fish and they were quite a bit smaller than they are now. Good job Karen!
I am also thinking that since these are pretty common, easy to breed Angels the more advanced Angelfish breeders won't be very interested in them so since I think a beginner will most likely win this auction (I actually WANT a beginner to win it).
I will also send you some Oak leaves, a piece of slate like you can see they laid their eggs on, some Methylene blue for hatching the eggs artificially if you like AND a special food mix I am going to grind up for you with my mortar and pestle so you will have some food that is just a little bit smaller than my #2 mix that newly free swimming angels fry WILL EAT.
Dark Marble fry are born larger than many other color varieties are and these are a GOOD type of Angel to get your feet wet with. Start with something EASY when working with a new type of fish you have never spawned before!
I will also send you a small micro worm culture because those are easy to deal with and are also good food for egg layer fry.
Feeding the new born fry is the real tricky part of breeding egg layers NOT getting them to breed themselves and if you have never hatched baby brine shrimp before that can also be tricky so I feel the best way to deal with your first egg layer fry is to have some prepared food THAT the fry WILL eat. They will eat the ground up food I will send you.
When you receive these angels just stick them in a tank no smaller than a 20 high or a 20 long will work too, feed them Frozen Brine shrimp every day along with the mix # 2 I am sending you in this auction and keep the tank set at 80 degrees. You SHOULD have eggs on your slate within about 10 days! AND if you DON'T E Mail me and I will let you in on a few tricks that almost always persuade a Pr. of Angels to get with the program!
If you have thought about trying to breed some Angels in the past this could be a Great opportunity for you!
