These are the Parents who dropped all the Swordtails in this tank. Hello folks! This auction is for a BREEDING Trio of Apistogramma eunotus and 8 Red Spotted Wag Swordtails! These are the SAME Apisto's I have been selling breeding trios of under the name Apisto. macmasteri sp. a little over the past 3 years SO, if you already have them you don't want to bid on these AND I also apologize for selling you an Apisto that I had identified wrong. The TOP moving picture and the first 3 Photo's below show the Male and both of the females I will be sending you. The Male has already spawned with BOTH the females you will be receiving and these are REAL easy to work with. Here's what to do when they arrive. Put all 3 fish in a tank NO SMALLER than a 15 and no larger than a 30. Add some plants, fake or real, and provide both females with a cave or flower pot. Also ADD THE 8 young swordtails I am also sending you ALONG with 4 or 5 Oak leaves (I will send them to you too). Set your heater for 82 degrees. Now feed them anything you like as long as you also feed them some FROZEN BRINE SHRIMP at least once daily. Within a week to 10 days both these females will turn BRIGHT YELLOW and WILL spawn and as soon as you see both females taking their fry out for food foraging trips start feeding this tank the "Lotsoffish mix # 2" I will be sending you. Both females will raise their fry AND each others fry too if they get them mixed together and the Male will chase those 8 young swordtails around your tank and stay out of the females business of raising these fry and everybody including the swordtails will live happily ever after. The end! (Laughing) in all seriousness folks that is what will happen. This is my 4th generation breeding these Apistogramma eunotus and that is exactly how I have spawned them each time except I have always used Platys as dither fish instead of Swordtails. These Apisto's do NOT need soft acid water to breed and thrive in and they do just fine in my Great Lakes hard water. I only have 7 of these right now and I am sending YOU my oldest trio (they are NOT really old they have JUST started breeding) and saving 2 Pr's. for myself. These are one of the few strains of fish I am actually going to KEEP breeding in my fish room. To sum up- You will get a breeding trio of Apistogramma eunotus, 8 NICE Red Spotted wag Swordtails, PLUS a good supply of "Lotsoffish mix # 2' cuz you can start these fry right off on that stuff once they are free swimming plus some Oak leaves.
