This is a cool medium sized cory and you will be getting 5. They will spawn on the glass like any other cory but I found they prefer spawning on floating plants or floating mops. Imagine my surprise when I came down to the fishroom in the dark to find a bunch of duckweed suspended in the middle of the water column weighted down by cory eggs.
Since they like to spawn at the surface I�m also going to include 25 plants of Tank raised dwarf water lettuce. This stuff is growing great for me under standard two bulb T8 shoplights with daylight bulbs.
You know another thing I found that likes hanging out in surface plants that surprised me was baby Red Claw Shrimp, kinda makes me wonder how many I sucked up with the shop-vac thinning out the floaters? I know I have some � inch Juvies and will be sending you four of those as well. They are a cool large shrimp that will do well right in with the corys as long as each has a cave to claim as its own, once mature Males create harems and keep the females in line. They can easily be trained to hand feed, and have odd personalities, one day they�ll try to attack you right through the glass and the next they duck into a cave when you walk by.
All Plants are grown in my Fish room under Medium low lighting <3WPG with no addition of CO2 and regular dosing of the Seachem fertilizer line and API Root Tabs. My fish are fed a variety of foods, the bulk of their diet consists of Golden Pearls, Lohachata PLECOCAIN Capitan Bob's Live foods, FRENZY & Beef Heart FRENZY. Most of my fry are started on Micro, Walter, and Banana worms. If you are still buying generic flake from your local fish store I highly recommend you save some cash, give your fish more nutrition and support some fellow hobbyists.
