Description

In this auction you will receive a neat group of fish and shrimp which will be a great addition to a community aquarium. First off, you'll receive 5 young mixed sex Rainbow Goodeids (Characodon lateralis)at about one inch in length. These are my favorite goodeids. Both males and females are very attractive, with males coloring up to a bright pink hue and females turning a lovely shade of turqoise. They are easy to keep and breed, and stay fairly small. Females reach about 3 inches. Males maybe 2.5 inches. Next you will receive 5 Indian Rice Fish (Oryzias dancena). These guys are great. Beautiful smaller ghost like fish with bright blue eyes. Males develop a very feathery anal fin which is very lovely. They are also very easy to keep and breed. Both sexes reach about 2 inches in length. Next is 5 young Bronze cory cats (Corydoras aneas)at about 1 inch in length. They are great active scavengers who reach a little over 2 inches, and are pretty easy to breed as well. Also, I'll include 10 mixed sex, mixed size marble shrimp (Neocaridina sp.). Shrimp will range from .25-1 inch in length. These shrimp are very similar to the frequently seen cherry shrimp, and seem to be able to interbreed with them. Mine range in color from a light gray to dark chocolate brown. It seems to be at least partly dependent on environment. My light individuals seem to occur mostly on lighter colored gravel. Darker ones on darker gravel. They are very easy to keep and breed. I have them in dozens of tanks. They are really fun and very prolific. I will also throw in a handful of mixed plants (Bacopa australis, Najas guadaloupensis, and Sagittaria subulata) for good measure. You can throw them all in a 10 gallon for a while, move them all into a 20 or more as they grow up. As with all of our fish and shrimp. These guys are all tank raised here and healthy. Shipping via USPS priority mail will be $18. If you prefer Express shipping, rates will vary from $35-55 depending on location. Live arrival is guarunteed with Express mail only, but these guys typically all ship pretty well. All fish are shipped in insulated boxes.A 72 hr. heat pack will be included with either method at no additional charge. Always happy to combine shipping, so please check out our other auctions for more cool fish and plants. Thanks and good luck bidding!
