HUGE BOX-O-HARDWOOD LEAVES * * * FREE SHIPPING * * * Hi FOLKS!!!!! UP FOR BID IS THE FOLLOWING; 1 HUGE box of hardwood leaves, FREE SHIPPING!!! This is mostly oak, but will contain some maple and and other hardwood leaves. These are the same leaves, same source, as what I use in my tanks, and send small bags of in alot of my auctions here on Aquabid!! Why would you want to put hardwood leaves in your tank??? Because they have MANY MANY BENIFITS!!! THATS WHY!!! Some fish live in the wild, gill deep in leaf litter, others that dont still beneift from their natural properties, which include- * Releasing tannins * Natural antibiotic and antifungal properties * Helps induce spawning * Kick starts infusoria populations * And give fry/ shrimp hiding places!!! * several others TFH magazine even did an article on the benefits, which goes more in depth !! I snapped those photos before I closed up a couple leave boxes. And here's some photos of the leave sample bags I toss in my auction boxes- You'll find some of those types of leaves, mixed in with the oaks also... BUT the majority is OAK!!! These boxes are 12X 12 X 8, #7 priority boxes...BIG boxes, FULL of leaves. These are CLEAN, no pesticides, no chemical contaiminants, no ferts... just natural fresh fallen Hardwood leaves, from my yard, and my parents property who are out in the country, away from pesky exhaust fumes, and the like. I've went threw and removed sticks, and the other things that are found in leaves, like spiders, as I've boxed them up, so they are ready to just drop in your tanks!!!
