; Hello folks! I took the photo's below Wednesday when I was catching some self cloning crayfish for last weeks auction winner. I am pretty sure THIS specimen is the actual first self cloning crayfish I ever owned. It's at least 2 years old now and Wednesday when I was rooting around in my self cloning crayfish tank I noticed it was berried and I netted it out just to take a couple photo's of it. Obviously it was GOOD timing on my part because as soon as I had it in my catch container all those baby crayfish you can see below came pouring out from under it's tail and I instantly had well over 100 of them in the catch container. Here's an interesting question. If ALL these crayfish are all exactly the same genetically why are SOME, like this one, are so colorful yet others are mostly just a marbled brown? I honestly have NO IDEA what the answer to that question is. Anyway, since I had all those baby crayfish from THIS individual crayfish in a fish container it seemed like a GOOD time to start a new tank of these things so that's exactly what I did. YOU are bidding on this one LARGE self cloning crayfish. It is the EXACT Crayfish you will receive in your box this coming week. It is about 4 inches long. I will ALSO include some HIGH QUALITY food for it to eat along with a small handful of plants for it to hang out in. If you take GOOD CARE of it YOU will end up with a big batch of baby crayfish JUST LIKE you can see in my photo's below. Sound good? I hope so cuz that's all I have to say about this auction. LOL!
