Description

Hello folks!
I still have a batch of young crayfish from that big red Pair that bred and then I sold a few weeks a go and I would really like the tank they are in for other things so this week I am going to sell them all.
I have 21 all between about an inch to 2 inches.
This auction is for 7 Crayfish!
You will get a MIX of sizes because I bet the Males grow faster than the females.
I never have identified these crayfish even though I had the adult Pr. for quite a while, and I do know Lexinverts is doing well raising a batch of them and he has yet to identify them yet either.
The good news concerning these crayfish is they are very docile. I had my LARGE Pr. in a tank with loaches and Swordtails and they never once caught a fish and this was over about a three month period. I now have all 21 of these young ones in a tank with Chilli endlers and some Ancistrus and Woworae rice fish and they just don't seem to bother with fish so I am calling them VERY docile as far as crayfish go.
I mostly feed them a Plecocaine type pellet along with Veggie sticks and whatever I am feeding my fish at the time and they do very well on that diet. I also found these to be very easy to breed and they were extremely good parents also.
If you have been thinking about trying to keep and possibly breed a crayfish BUT you are afraid they will catch and kill your fish I would highly recommend this species. I am sorry that I can't seem to identify these crayfish but one issue I have had is they change color quickly and drastically every time they molt so it's tough to even know what color crayfish to try matching them up to in books and at websites.
I WILL include some sinking foods with this auction.
