It's Time To Say Good-bye...
I really mean it this time
It is time for me to move on to the next chapter in my life and I think I am finally ready to let go of this one. I tried this about a year ago and just couldn't do it, but it was for the wrong reasons that I hung on and I'm afraid all that did was burn me out.
Once something is no longer fun, it becomes a chore and I hate doing chores.
Having my website hacked a couple years ago and my email hacked last month probably didn't help me feel warm and fuzzy either but simply put, I'm ready for a change.
Soon everything that was Baylees will be gone except for a picture on the wall and a couple coffee mugs that some really nice people made for me.
I can't say I won't miss the hobby and I can't say years down the road when everyone has forgotten, I might sneak back, but I know I will miss the people I have met over the years, going to shows and so on. I hope that I am able to stay in touch with most because if you take the fish part away, most of the people are actually kind of normal.
So I think I found a sucker to buy all of my tanks and equipment but I still have some crap that I can't convince anyone to buy in a garage sale and I am ready to start draining and saving money on my electric bill.
So check out my upcoming auctions to see if you would like to have any of this crap because I won't need it. I have plans to have ONE tank in the house and a few tubs in the back yard that I am trying to make a water feature out of. That may be my only chance of returning later on.

This auction is for Moss Balls and they are perfect additions to any tank because they compete for the same nutrients that algae does. In other words, toss these in your tanks to help prevent algae. You can also stop running your lights all stinking day like a moron because when the lights come on the plants come on and look for CO2 and once it runs out, they stall and here comes the algae.
In this tub you will see 6 moss balls I had in some tanks. These moss balls are PERFECT and will remain perfect if you squeeze them out from time to time like you do a sponge filter to help keep them tight and compact. The tub they are in is about 14" x 10" to give you and idea of how big they are. The small ones are probably golfball size and is about all the mail order guys can bring in right now. The biggest one is a little bigger than a base ball.

I took those out and used the same size tub to put in 6 MORE BALLS!! Now we are getting into the softball size that I know nobody is bringing in right now. These balls have been in tubs and I would rate these close to perfect. I noticed three of them have started to crack. Almost looks like some fish decided to move in and call them home. The bigger these guys get the harder they are to take care of because they want to hollow out and start to fall apart which is a good way to split them.
Here is an picture of one of them. I still think you can keep squeezing these for a while, especially the ones that haven't cracked yet.

I took those out and used the same tub for 2 more balls and here is a picture of them.
These are from one of my tubs as well and they are not perfect and both have cracked open on me. BUT AREN'T THEY HUGE!!!
I am going to show you a picture of the one on the left and then tell you what you could do with it.
There is a new trend that started happening with these, in fact I ran some auctions a while back when I had these open up. You could try to attach them to a rock or driftwood and create a whole new concept.
