Description

GOTTA EMPTY TUB?????

Free Template from AuctionInsights.info

Up for bid is the following, and would be great for an empty 20+ gal tank , or a summer tub, and all these can and do live together in harmony!!! can breed them al together also, if you have enough plant cover!! I grow out the swordtail with guppy fry.. so they are used to having lil fish swimming around with them.

1 young trio of "Yucatan" X. Helleri Swordtails. The male has just recently sexed out, and the sword is JUST starting to develop. They are 4 months old, and still growing... not even half sized yet.. Parents get to 4.5-5 inches, not counting the sword, and these young ones are about 1.5 inches right now ( guesstimate/eyeballing as im not dragging them OUT to take an accurate measurement...lol)

I'm adding 1 trio of sexable juvi BLUE moscows... you can throw these in the same tank or tub as the swords, and the swords will appreciate the company!!!! This line like having smaller fish around..

Then I'm gonna toss in a dozen or so of MTS snails, These snails are GREAT!!! The digg threw your substrate, aerating it, gobbling up all kinds of stuff, and will even come up and eat left over foods, algea, and decaying plant leaves. That makes for a great clean up crew!!!

Im also gonna toss in 1 juvi Bristle nose pleco, that is close to 2 inches... again Im eyeballing the lil one. So far, my best guess is this is a young female.. but not promising anything.. but it'll be a nice compliment to the rest of this auction, so why not toss it in????

Then, Im gonna toss in some plants... Plants give tons of benefits to tanks, and tubs cant function w/o them!!! They also make great fry savers!!!

1 bunch of hornwort

1 portion naja

1 bunch bacopa australis

3 baby water lettuce... quarter sized, these are babies from the POND type water lettuce, not the miniture type... great for tubs, but also for your glass topped tanks... if they get to big- toss em out, and pluck the babies off... much better than DUCKWEED... and the root systems are great for fry!!!

That should get you off to a good start in a tub, or tank, and give the fry your gonna get OODLES of places to hide....

It is the BUYERS responcibility to know your local laws on plants that could be banned... if I have offered one that is banned in your area, contact me, and I'll offer a replacement.

Here's what these swordtails looked like as fry...

That picture above shows their coloration better than most... as the others dont do them justice....

Here's the parents....

The male your getting looks like he is growing up to look just like this proud papa!!! One of the females have SOME of the orange coloring, the other looks like the female in the picture... here's a better look at her below...whats showing as mostly GREEN in the above photo is REALLY more of that teal/ aqua blue that is shown in that fry pict above... and those arent vertical stripes on that male... just reflections and his speckles BLURRED while swimming around... LOL

Aint she a pretty speckled girl??? Thats one of the adult females... but the other girl your getting looks almost exactly like her... just younger.

The above picture is for a size reference... see that guppy above the female swordtail... I told ya these get BIG....

Now this line throw a second "type " of male... one thats really BLUE and GREEN... with a deep orangey red lat line... I tried to seperate these into 2 sep lines... but didnt get anywhere... here's what the other males look like... speckles vary PER fish

Not the BESt pict, but enough to give you a good idea....

Enough of them, how bout some Blue Moscow Picts???

Here's one of these, probably close to a month ago...

The females of this line are HB, and get darker blue tails with age...

Here is a young male... just a tad older than what you'll be getting

and then an adult male.... there may be a slight green cast to the photos... the duckweed covering the tank, wasnt helping...lol

the duckweed above, and all that wisteria in the back...makes it hard to get the colors to show threw correctly when taking a photo of them IN the tank... but should give you a good idea... THESE are BEAUTIES!!!

Then Im tossing in the MTS snails... most are brown, some are tan striped with a grey or teal... your going to get an assortment of colors and sizes.

So to go over what your getting AGAIN....

1 trio young swordtails

1 trio young blue moscows

1 Bristle Nose/ bushy nose... brown, short fin

a dozen MTS snails

PLANTS good for tubbing or saving fry in a tank
