Hello Folks!This is the last Pr. I have available! As usual I am totally out of control hobby wise and I ended up trading all my (and I mean ALL of them) Macrobrachium sp. "Red Claw Macro" Shrimp to a hobbyist that saw me running an auction for some, for 3 Pr's of Electric White Procambarus clarkii. Seeing I have never really seriously got in to keeping freshwater cray fish other than some of those Electric Blue cray fish, Procambarus alleni I really didn't know too much about them. Well I do now! Seems there's a whole community of Cray fish enthusiasts out there for Christ sake. So now that I am no longer screwing around with those long arm shrimp I am going to mess with cray fish for a while. That means I will be trying to breed some and in the mean time I will be selling some too! Cuz selling this stuff is what pays my bills. Now, I know you folks are going to think I am totally lying to you about this BUT one of the first things the guy I traded my long arms with told me about messing with cray fish is they like LEAVES in their tanks (I swear to God he told me that, scouts honor) so you will want to use some leaves, some wood, and some rocks for these animals. They are also climbers and I have already learned it's best to keep them in a tank that's about 3/4 full. I have been screwing around with these Electric White Procambarus clarkii a couple weeks now and they seem to prefer eating vegetable matter over meaty stuff although so far they have eaten ANYTHING I have tossed in with them. I have also learned how to easily sex all cray fish so I will absolutely send you a Pr. of these and from what I can tell this strain I now have are VERY high quality specimens. If you are thinking about trying these from everything I have read and heard about them, in the short amount of time I have had them is, they are fairly easy to breed, and if you could actually find them for sale in a pet store they usually sell for about 25-30 bucks each. Lastly, it's important to remember that the species of White cray fish you will have are Procambarus clarkii because there is another strain of White cray fish out there that look very similar to these guys and they are Procambarus alleni.
