Hello Folks. Want to know why I am running so far behind posting these auctions this week? (Seems like every week lately). The truth is I am having an awful time of things this Summer. Just today alone was trying. For "unknown reasons" my cable modem would not function between about 3PM and it just started working again for "unknown reasons" around 9 PM tonight. That means for "unknown reasons" I am now 6 hours behind on posting these auctions. I keep using that term "unknown reasons" because that is how the cable company explains these type of issues. You see we rent the modem from the cable company. Nice hu? It seems like a lot of stuff has been piling on me this Summer for "unknown reasons". So anyway, I decided to put on some Sarah McLachlan and write a damn auction. You see, I actually listen to these tunes while I write these auctions and decide what I am actually going to sell in them. I bet you didn't know that. In fact the music I pick out actually sets the tone for the entire auction. So I put on this Sarah McLachlan tune because it's hauntingly beautiful and I needed something to take the edge off of my rotten day and now I am going to go find the photos I have loaded on to photo bucket for the fish I am about to try to sell you, stick them in the proper spots below describe in my own words what these fish are all about and post this auction on Aquabid. It's all really sort of relaxing for me most of the time. Win this auction and I am going to send you 4 (that's all I have) "Giant otocinclus". The fish I have are easily 3 inches long, probably closer to 4 inches and I am not going to walk back down to my fish room and measure them again. I have had these fish about 3 Months and they are absolutely thriving. I have a short movie of the actual fish you can check out below. These were wild caught fish and they are rarely available. Another interesting thing about them is they are almost impossible to identify. There are several different types of these "Giant" otocinclus and for what ever reasons not too many scientists have worked on naming these fish. I also have 2 lonely regular otocinclus catfish in this tank and they are coming along for the ride too. I can't even remember where I got those but they have been here with me for quite a long time too. I think it would be super cool for one of you folks try to breed these Giant otocinclus. After watching these fish off and on over the years I am going to guess they will breed on either the glass in an aquarium or the underside of leaves. Just to give you some added incentive I am also going to toss 6 Spotted Danio, Danio kyathit in to this box. Those fish are just as good looking as the danio photo's you can see below and I REALLY like all the newer fish being collected and exported out of Myanmar. These fish were actually just discovered in 1998. How cool is that? If those LOSERS over in Myanmar would actually let their citizens collect fish and ship them out of their Country more often, I bet a few of them would make some actual money doing it and we would see a lot more new species of fish becoming available to us. This really is a GREAT tune isn't it? Sara really puts a lot of emotion in to her singing doesn't she? I am going to send you some Vegetable sticks to feed those Giant otocinclus catfish and some "Lotsoffish mix #2" to feed those Danios. You will get both sexes of those Danios and I would bet you could get a spawn out of those within a week of getting them. `They will scatter their eggs on plants or mops but their eggs are not very adhesive so most of them will fall to the bottom of your tank where those Otocinclus and actually the Danios themselves will eat them. There are a couple simple ways to collect those eggs before they all get eaten and you can E mail me for them if you want. I have already done too much typing to start explaining how to do that now. Oh, and I will also send you a nice sized handful of floating plants. I seem to have floating plants all over this fish room right now so why not send you some?
